My name is Sheryl Rothe. I have lived in the Continental Ranch area since 1997. Before moving to Tucson I attended Colorado State University and obtained my Bachelors degree in Microbiology and my Masters degree from the college of Agriculture, with an emphasis on Cooperative Extension. While on an internship I spent many hours working closely with the 4-H youth groups. I have always worked with children and dearly love interacting with them and teaching them new skills. I was able to utilize my degrees when I became a pharmaceutical representative.
My husband of 16 years and I have been blessed with four wonderful children ranging in the ages of fourteen years of age to six years of age. I was was first drawn to ISR thirteen years ago when my family was going on a houseboat trip.
All of my children swim competitively, and all started swim team at age four. My children continue to grow as swimmers and currently the older children are qualified for Far West Championships for 2012.
By Pursuing my dream of becoming a certified ISR Instructor I am now able to take care of my number on priority, my family, as well as helping other families in my community. This year will bring many exciting opportunities for me to promote drowning prevention within the Tucson Jewish Community Center. I am also actively involved with managing pre swim team swim lessons for the JCC Stingray swim team (both USA and SAAA).
