My name is Lori Peabody. I live with my husband, Eric, and two daughters in northwest Tucson. When my oldest daughter, Ava, was around 3 years old, she had been a student of “traditional” swim lessons. Unfortunately, though, she didn’t learn much and didn’t enjoy it, either! At this same time, many of my friends had their children, who were all around the same age as Ava, in ISR lessons. I was blown away at what I saw these little children doing! Several years later, when my youngest daughter, Morgan, was 4 years old, I finally decided to put her through the ISR program. Being the water lover she is, she took to lessons quickly and loved them! This is when my passion for ISR erupted and I decided to become a Certified Instructor myself, so I could offer these life-saving skills to children in my community!

Sick Child Policy: There are several conditions that may preclude a lesson on any given day. The most common among those are vomiting and/or diarrhea during the last 24 hours, a fever of 100 degrees or higher during the last 24 hours, or eye discharge during the last 48 hours. Please leave a message for me at 520.490.6747 if your child will not be attending lessons or if you have questions about his/her health.

Weather Policy: If the weather appears questionable on any given day, please check my voice mail at 520.490.6747 for the current day. This message will be updated each day that the weather looks or feels questionable. If there is not a specific message about lesson cancellation, assume there will be lessons.
